Play as Fireboy and Watergirl, alone or with a friend, and guide both characters through a series of elemental temples. Each must reach their own exit while avoiding hazards that are dangerous to them.

Jump across platforms, activate switches, and use environmental mechanisms to open paths and help the other character. The temples introduce different puzzle themes, including light, wind, ice, and crystals.
