PGA TOUR 2K21 is a golf simulation where you create a golfer and pursue a PGA TOUR career, competing against professional golfers and working toward the FedExCup.
Rounds focus on shaping shots and putting across licensed, real-world courses. Tutorials and shot assists such as distance control and Putt Preview help players tailor the challenge.
Outside career play, the game offers match formats including Stroke Play, Skins, Alt-Shot, and four-player Scramble. Players can customize their golfer, design courses, and set up online society seasons and tournaments.
The most repeated criticism is that after the servers were shut down, players could no longer access career mode, and many also report losing online play, progression, and unlocks. Some reviewers recall enjoying the golf and career experience before these changes, and a few say local matches remain fun; one specifically praises the adjustable shot assists.
