Set across planets from the Star Wars films, the game puts you on the front lines of the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War. Choose to fight for the Republic, Separatists, Empire, or Rebel Alliance as one of several soldier types.
Matches center on capturing command posts and reducing the opposing force’s reinforcements. Switch between soldier classes with different weapons and capabilities, and use vehicles or turrets to shape the battle.
Play quick matches in Instant Action, follow film-era battles in Historical Campaigns, or link fights into a planet-by-planet Galactic Conquest. The modes support offline play against bots as well as online battles.
Players often value the game as a nostalgic classic, but many also describe its large battles, familiar Star Wars settings, and mix of soldier classes and vehicles as enjoyable in their own right.
