GENSOU Skydrift

Set in Gensokyo, the story begins when some girls notice their spirit energy is weakening. Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame spot someone fleeing along a racetrack, launching a campaign featuring Touhou characters.

Races pair two characters: one serves as the rider and the other as the board, and you can switch between them. Use spell cards to interfere with rivals, accelerate, or defend, and unleash character-specific Last Words.

The 16 courses span locations such as the Human Village, a flying ship, and Hakugyokuro, with routes that include walls, ceilings, cliffs, and open air. A campaign takes you through courses and unlocks characters; the game also offers versus play and a post-game secret episode.

Players who enjoyed the game often praised its entertaining racing, Touhou character and course selection, and the added strategy of pairing and switching characters while managing items. Some described more depth than expected from a kart-style racer. Reviews also repeatedly noted that online play has few players, and some felt the amount of content did not justify the price.
