A rupture between worlds brings the Chaos Gods and their forces into conflict with the nations of Kislev and Grand Cathay. You take command of a faction and its Legendary Lord as the struggle over the fate of the world unfolds.
On the campaign map, expand your territory, manage your empire, move armies and make strategic decisions. The narrative Realm of Chaos campaign sends you into the Chaos realms, while the strategy sandbox offers campaigns shaped by your faction and choices.
When armies meet, you direct their units in real-time battles, using positioning, different troop types and faction abilities. You can also customize the Daemon Prince with body parts and powers, and play multiplayer campaigns or battles with others.
