During a visit to the rural hot-spring town of Hoori, protagonist Achi is asked to help at his grandfather’s inn. At a shrine event, he accidentally breaks a sacred sword, drawing him into the town’s old curse and bringing him closer to its residents.
The story follows Achi through everyday life in Hoori, where he spends time with several young women and encounters supernatural dangers tied to the town’s traditions. Its mix of romance, local folklore, comedy, and quieter character moments unfolds across individual character stories.
This is a text-driven visual novel: read dialogue and narration, then make choices that branch the story into different romance routes and endings. Replaying with different choices lets you follow other routes and see more of the story.
Players who connect with the game often praise its characters and the emotional pull of its romance, especially the gradual closeness built through everyday scenes. Some describe the stories as moving or comforting, while others find the common-route pacing slow, the central plot underdeveloped, or the character routes uneven.
