You play as a cursor-hand moving through a strange, wordless world made from handmade plasticine animation. The experience unfolds as a sequence of surreal scenes rather than a clearly explained story.
Click on objects and changing details to interact with each scene. Some clicks trigger transformations or animations, while simple point-and-click puzzles help move the sequence forward.
There are no spoken instructions or text to guide you. Progress comes from observing the environment and experimenting with clicks as the world shifts around your cursor-hand.
Players who enjoy Wurroom often praise its tactile, handmade clay animation, vivid surreal imagery, and unusual atmosphere. Several also highlight how the soundtrack complements the visuals, and appreciate the brief, unconventional experience even when they are unsure what it means. Some players find the interactions and progression unclear, and note that the experience is very short.
