Inertial Drift is an arcade racer set in a retro-futuristic world. Choose a driver and car, then take on courses through city streets, coastal roads, and other stylized environments.
Steer with one stick and control your drift angle with the other. Managing steering, acceleration, and braking helps you carry speed through corners; each car handles differently, so learning its approach is part of the challenge.
Story events, challenges, Grand Prix events, time trials, duels, and drift-scoring events offer different ways to drive. Completing events and progressing through the campaigns unlocks more cars and higher difficulty challenges; local and online multiplayer are also available.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its separate steering and drift controls, the distinct handling of each car, and the satisfaction of learning to take a course faster. Reviews also appreciate the colorful visual style and tracks. Other players find the controls difficult to master or the events repetitive, and recurring complaints focus on the soundtrack and story presentation.
