Set in the Cobra Kai universe, the game follows the continuing rivalry between Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai. Choose a dojo and play its campaign, with missions across Los Angeles and characters from the series.
Fight through groups of enemies in side-scrolling beat-'em-up stages, using punches, kicks, grabs, combos, special moves, and ultimate attacks. Each dojo has four playable characters, and you can switch between them during fights; stages also feature bosses and objects or hazards to use in combat.
Earn coins and develop fighters through skill trees that unlock and improve moves and stats. The two dojo campaigns offer different perspectives, and completing both unlocks an additional ending. The game also supports cooperative play.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its approachable, combo-focused brawling, the ability to swap characters during fights, and cooperative play.
