After crashing on an unfamiliar planet, you must explore its biomes, gather resources, and build a place to survive. Scrapnaut is a top-down survival game playable alone or with others in online co-op.

Scavenge materials, craft tools and equipment, grow food, and cook meals. Keep oxygen and supplies in mind as you explore, take on quests, and face hostile machines.

Expand and improve your base with farms, defenses, and systems for generating and storing electricity. Crafting and building unlock new ways to prepare for exploration and enemy raids.

Some players enjoy Scrapnaut as a relaxed, casual survival game, especially when playing with friends or spending time building up a base. Others find its progression short or repetitive, and describe parts of the experience as tedious or rough.
