Take charge of a daimyo clan during Japan’s Warring States era and pursue regional or national unification across historical and alternate scenarios. You direct a clan and its officers, whose assignments and abilities shape how your lands are run and defended.

Develop castles and surrounding territory, grant land to retainers, and delegate local administration. Set clan policies, manage resources, use covert actions, and negotiate alliances as you plan campaigns. Military supplies limit how long armies can operate away from their bases.

Move armies across a real-time map and take direct command in field battles and sieges. Positioning, flanking, morale, fatigue, and supplies affect engagements; major victories can weaken nearby territories and lead them to submit.
