You play a priest condemned to exile who washes ashore in a dark fantasy land beset by plague and strange threats. Armed with a staff and a mysterious book, you set out to help its people and uncover what is harming the world.
Explore connected areas, fight enemies with melee weapons, ranged weapons, and magic, and solve puzzles to open new routes. Environmental interactions include lighting obstacles, powering machinery, revealing paths, and freezing water.
Find weapons and abilities, upgrade equipment with help from blacksmiths and alchemists, and revisit earlier areas to reach places that were previously inaccessible. The game also supports cooperative play with up to seven other players.
Players who enjoy GRAVEN often praise its grim atmosphere, retro visual style, and interconnected areas filled with secrets and exploration.
