In the island nation of Yara, you join the resistance against Castillo's regime and help build support for a revolution. Missions bring you into contact with rebel groups and other communities as you work to weaken the government’s hold.

Fight in first-person with firearms, custom weapon setups, and improvised gear, including powerful backpack weapons. You can approach encounters through stealth or open combat, enlist animal companions with different battlefield roles, and travel by horse, helicopter, buggy, and other vehicles.

Explore jungles, beaches, farmland, and cities while capturing bases and clearing routes to open up more of the map. Missions, crafting, upgrades, and camp improvements expand your tools and rebel network. The full campaign can also be played in two-player co-op.

Player reviews are mixed. Positive comments often highlight Yara’s vivid scenery and atmosphere, enjoyable shooting, and the freedom to tackle encounters with stealth or loud combat. Some also enjoy the unusual weapons, animal companions, and co-op play.
