Takeshi, a samurai, sets out to defend his village from an Oni and its undead army. His journey also features Kodama, a small spirit, and Chisai, a warrior cat, in a dark adventure inspired by Japanese folklore.
Travel through ruined villages, caves, cemeteries, and other 2D environments, facing undead foes and yokai. The three characters have different roles: Takeshi fights with weapons such as a katana, spear, and bow; Kodama uses spirit powers; and Chisai takes on stealth and agility-focused sections.
Combat combines attacks, dodges, parries, special moves, and character-specific abilities. Earn experience as you progress to improve stats and unlock moves, then arrange attacks into custom combos. Levels also contain secrets and items to find.
