Set in the world of Sword Art Online’s War of Underworld arc, the story follows Kirito and his allies as they battle the forces of the Dark Territory. Players take on Kirito’s role in a new story featuring familiar characters and additional scenarios.

Combat is real-time and party-based: use sword skills and other abilities, switch between allies, and chain attacks together. The game also includes optional quests and battles alongside its main story missions.

Choose from more than 40 playable characters and build bonds through episode quests. Character skills and equipment support progression, while a customizable avatar, costumes, and weapons let players shape their appearance; visual outfit changes do not affect equipment stats.
