In a shattered world where humanity survives on floating continents above an undead-cursed surface, you play a prisoner offered freedom by the Inquisition in exchange for pursuing a dangerous mercenary leader.
Travel between strange regions, towns, and ruins to investigate quests, speak with locals, and uncover lore and hidden places. Finding your way relies on directions, landmarks, a compass, and maps you discover and fill in rather than constant quest markers.
Build your character by raising stats with Delusions found through exploration and quests. Skills can open doors to new routes or dialogue options, while weapons, spells, potions, smithing, and alchemy support your journey. Your choices shape quest outcomes and the fate of factions and places.
