You play as an envoy of Aedyr sent to the Living Lands, a strange island in Eora, to investigate a mysterious plague amid political tensions. The mission draws you into conflicts involving the region’s people, factions, and ancient mysteries.
Explore large, connected regions on foot, climb and jump through ruins, follow quests, and search caves and hidden paths for supplies and gear. In combat, combine weapons such as swords, guns, bows, and shields with spells and abilities; companions fight alongside you and contribute their own skills.
Develop your character by selecting abilities across warrior, ranger, and wizard skill trees, assigning attributes, and upgrading weapons and armor with gathered materials. Dialogue backgrounds can open distinct responses, while decisions in quests can affect relationships and later events. You can also change equipment and respec your build.

This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
