When the sun goes down on the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors are plunged into an unpredictable night of horror. The only thing worse than the blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them are the unimaginable choices you must make to help them survive.

On the last night of summer camp, nine counselors find themselves stranded at Hackett’s Quarry as dangerous locals and creatures close in. You take turns guiding the counselors through the night and deciding how they respond to threats and to one another.
The story unfolds through cinematic scenes, dialogue choices, exploration, and quick-time events. Search locations for clues, evidence, and tarot cards, while making decisions that can affect later events and determine which counselors survive.
Choices lead to branching scenarios and different outcomes, inviting players to see how the night changes on another run. You can play solo, share control of counselors in couch co-op, invite others to vote on decisions online, or watch a version of the story in Movie Mode.
Players who enjoy The Quarry often praise its cinematic horror presentation, summer-camp atmosphere, and the tension of making choices that can affect the counselors’ fates. Some also enjoy the performances and exploring for clues, while finding the branching outcomes a reason to replay. Criticism commonly focuses on awkward dialogue and character behavior, slow stretches with limited interaction, and restrictions that make revisiting parts of the story tedious; opinions also differ on how much some choices change events.
