We Love It's Guide to…

V Rising

You awaken as a weakened vampire in Vardoran and must regain your strength by hunting for blood. Sunlight threatens you outdoors, so timing expeditions around day and night—and moving through shade—shapes how you travel and survive. Explore settlements, wilderness, and other regions to gather resources, fight enemies, and track supernatural bosses. Combat combines aimed attacks, weapon skills, and spells; different blood types provide different bonuses, while defeated bosses grant new powers. Bring materials back to your castle to craft equipment and build work areas, rooms, and decorations. Boss victories unlock further recipes, abilities, and building options, creating a cycle of preparation, exploration, and tougher fights. Play solo, cooperatively, or in online PvP.

Awaken as a weakened vampire, hunt blood and boss powers, evade daylight, and build a castle while surviving Vardoran.
