In the Central European city of Praslav, you play a homeless person preparing for winter. Find food, clothing, and supplies while keeping track of needs such as hunger, warmth, hygiene, and health.
Make a living by searching dumpsters, begging, taking jobs, selling or repairing goods, and choosing whether to risk theft or other crimes. Survival systems interact: weather can leave you cold and ill, while poor hygiene can affect how people respond to you.
Take quests from residents, build trust, learn skills, and navigate relationships among the city's factions. Gather discarded materials to build and furnish a shelter, and work toward a more secure place in the community. Play alone or in online co-op for up to four players.
Players often praise the unusual urban-survival premise, the interconnected needs and the gradual shift from struggling to establishing a more stable routine. Quests, characters, faction stories, and the bleakly humorous atmosphere also stand out in many reviews; some players especially enjoy scavenging and building a shelter, alone or with friends. The difficulty and limited guidance are divisive: some find learning the systems rewarding, while others find the early game punishing and the task progression repetitive or rough.
