In 1975, electrician Caz is working on an offshore rig near Scotland when disaster strikes and an unknown horror appears. With the rig breaking apart and communication cut off, he must try to survive and find his crewmates.
Move through the rig’s cramped corridors and exposed decks on foot, climbing and swimming through damaged, flooding sections. Along the way, interact with equipment and overcome hazards as the layout changes around you.
Caz has no weapons or special powers: encounters call for hiding, evasion, distractions, and flight. The story follows a guided route, with optional route markers and a Story Mode that reduces the threat.
Players who enjoyed the game often point to the isolated oil-rig setting, tense atmosphere, detailed environments, and expressive sound and voice performances. Some also praise the crew and emotional story. Other reviewers found the experience too short or linear, with limited gameplay, and some reported performance problems or wanted more explanation from the story.
