You play as Nomad, a soldier sent with an elite squad to a tropical island to investigate a crisis and rescue scientists. The mission begins amid conflict with North Korean forces before bringing a science-fiction threat into the campaign.
Your nanosuit lets you switch between speed, strength, armor, and cloaking, with abilities drawing on a shared energy supply. You can combine suit powers with customizable weapons to sneak, flank, or attack head-on, adapting your approach to each encounter.
Missions offer broad outdoor areas with multiple routes to objectives. Explore on foot or in vehicles, use physical surroundings and destructible obstacles in combat, and later face battles in zero gravity where movement and weapon recoil work differently.
Reviewers often enjoy the nanosuit's mix of stealth, speed, strength, and armor, especially when paired with open-ended jungle encounters that let them choose how to tackle enemies. Many also praise the environments, visual presentation, and physical destruction. Some find the campaign less engaging when it shifts toward more linear alien encounters, and several report launch, compatibility, or stability problems on newer systems.
