Kanii, a programmer, and Kumade, a graphics artist, met in college and began making indie games together after graduating. Their games struggle to sell, and part-time work becomes part of how they get by.

You follow the friends through dialogue-driven story chapters, alongside playable stages from the game they are making. In these retro-styled puzzle-platforming sections, you guide a small creature, breaking and rebuilding blocks to collect a key and reach the exit.

The story unfolds linearly across 13 chapters, with 12 platforming stages interspersed. There are no branching choices or alternate endings.
