Create an original pilot and fight through missions set across Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny. Choose between the Earth Alliance, ZAFT, and the Archangel, with battles based on events from the series and its side stories.
Pilot mobile suits in third-person action combat, using boosts to move, ranged and melee weapons to attack, and suit-specific special actions. Missions include defeating all enemies, eliminating a designated target, or protecting an ally; space battles allow movement in three dimensions.
Unlock mobile suits and pilots as you progress, then tune suits and their weapons to suit your approach and take on stronger opponents. The remaster also updates the suit models and menus, and adds revised save options, lock-on modes, and controller settings.
Positive reviewers often enjoy the fast, arcade-style mech combat, the range of mobile suits, and the chance to pilot a custom character through missions from the SEED setting. Some also like tuning suits and gradually becoming stronger, or value the game as a nostalgic return to an older style of Gundam action. Experiences differ: players also frequently criticize the controls and targeting, and some find the story presentation thin or the missions repetitive.
