In a world threatened by creatures corrupted by dragon blood, you play as one of four heroes—a Knight, Barbarian, Oracle, or Archer—hunting dragons and their leaders. The isometric action RPG can be played solo or with others in co-op.
Fight groups of enemies and bosses, complete missions, and collect gear and skill fragments. Equip a wyrmling companion with its own abilities, and use the loot you find to develop your character and combat setup.
The Ancestral Grid lets you place skills and modifiers together, shaping how your abilities work. You can also develop the city of Montescail to unlock services and bonuses, while continuing character progression through further hunts and endgame activities.
Players who enjoy the game often highlight experimenting with the Ancestral Grid, finding loot, and shaping different builds; some also praise the responsive combat, wyrmling companion, and city upgrades.
