You are a recruit in a paranormal investigation agency, sent into haunted locations to learn about the dead and help spirits move on. Each contract uses a generated story to give the haunting its own history.

Search rooms for diaries, newspaper clippings, unusual objects, and other clues. Use what you find to understand the spirit’s past and collect items connected to it, while adapting to ghosts with different behaviors and reactions.

When prepared, begin the exorcism and try to survive until the spirit is freed. Play alone or in a team of up to four, choosing among four roles with distinct abilities. Missions also support progression, unlockable features, and separate difficulty settings and modifiers for the investigation and ghost.
