You play as the Traveler, climbing a vast tower inhabited by five peoples who have become separated and can no longer understand one another. Each floor reveals a distinct culture, environment, and language.
Observe symbols in signs and conversations, connect them to what people do and the objects around them, and record your guesses in a notebook. As you learn each language’s vocabulary and patterns, you can read more of the tower’s messages and use your understanding to translate between its peoples.
Explore interconnected areas and solve puzzles that draw on both language clues and the environment. The journey also includes occasional stealth and chase sections as you make your way through the tower.
