Alone in the Dark Prologue

You play as Grace Saunders, an 11-year-old asked by Derceto resident Jeremy Hartwood to deliver a letter to his niece, Emily. The short horror prologue follows Grace through a wing of the manor as unsettling events unfold.

Gameplay centers on exploring the rooms, observing the surroundings, and interacting with objects while the manor’s atmosphere and strange occurrences build tension. The experience uses Grace’s perspective to frame the supernatural events.

Progress follows a brief, linear sequence of scripted events. Interactions include collecting an item, unlocking doors, and solving a simple puzzle; this prologue has no combat.
