Cube Chaos is a complex strategy roguelike about placing units to create giant armies, factories, combos, or self replicating murder crabs, overwhelming and outsmarting your opponents. Build and adapt new strategies each run using a ludicrous variety of units, perks and more.

In Cube Chaos, you place cubes on a battlefield to build an offense and defenses against an AI opponent doing the same. Cubes can represent units, structures, terrain, or effects, each with its own abilities and behavior.
Battles revolve around choosing where to place cubes and how their effects work together. Units can advance toward enemies while defenses hold the line, and perks can alter cubes or trigger further effects—sometimes producing elaborate chains or unexpected outcomes.
Runs offer changing selections of cubes, perks, and other options, with shops and risk-reward choices such as taking on debt or accepting curses for stronger perks. Classes and species shape a run, and further options unlock as you play.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its deep interactions and the pleasure of discovering surprising combinations among cubes and perks. Reviews describe runs that can develop into elaborate machines or wildly powerful combos, with varied possibilities encouraging experimentation and replay. Some players also find the complexity difficult to parse, and describe battles as swingy or frustrating.
In Cube Chaos you place cubes each of which has its own abilities and behaviours.
In practice it plays like a unique rogue-lite mix of rts, autobattler and towerdefense.
Call forth a rat above every non rat ally,
use catapults to catapult those rats past the enemy defenses,
meanwhile defend yourself with self repairing shield walls and
summon lightning clouds which teleport above enemies and zap them.
Just to sample a strategy.

Sure Triple Shot makes your guns shoot 3 bullets sometimes, but it also makes your anthills make more ants, your replicating crabs might triplicate, your dead enemies might turn into 3 zombies.
The perks in this game are meant to allow for strange and unusual strategies outside of what I the developer directly intended.
Want to buy something in the shop but didn't collect enough gold? Just go into debt!
Want to stack a perk 8 times in exchange for some of the most horrible curses my mind could cook up? Cursed trades got you covered!
Cube Chaos encourages you to take calculated risks and reap the rewards of living on the edge of defeat, rewarding you with both memorably victories, teaching defeats and if you are very lucky something so completely broken I'll have to consider adjusting it in the next balance patch.
