REFLEXIA's story starts out as a parody of its genre and ends as a psychological drama.
Developed by MAHOUMAIDEN · Published by Nikita Kryukov

A young woman who spends much of her time playing eroge is suddenly transported into a visual novel. There, she is expected to provide entertainment while encountering familiar romance-game character types.
Players read conversations, go on dates, and choose dialogue responses as the protagonist interacts with the heroines. The game presents more than 200 choices across these exchanges.
The story uses its visual-novel setup to comment on genre conventions and the relationship between characters, creators, and players. Its playful opening gradually gives way to psychological drama, presented in a minimalist black-and-white style.
Reviewers often enjoy how REFLEXIA shifts from playful parody into a more personal, reflective story, especially its fourth-wall-breaking exchanges and questions about identity, attachment, and self-worth. Some also praise its concise writing, distinctive monochrome presentation, and achievements that address the player directly. Others find the experience too short or its choices and replay options limited.
