Rintaro Okabe and the Future Gadget Lab face everyday problems in a set of lighter “what if?” stories. With the original story’s high-stakes conflicts taking a back seat, the focus shifts to the lab members’ private lives and relationships.

The visual novel branches into character-focused routes that explore different romantic possibilities for Rintaro. Each route follows its own mix of comedy, daily interactions, and personal moments with familiar lab members.

Players read dialogue and narration, then use Rintaro’s phone to answer or ignore calls and send or receive emails. These choices steer the story toward different routes and endings.
