You play as a Space Wrangler who links with Voidlings, alien creatures able to resist the corruption spreading across planets. Take direct control of a Voidling and fight enemies as you work to cleanse infested locations.
Missions send you through planetary biomes to explore, collect resources and eggs, battle enemy groups, and face bosses. Combat combines shooting and creature abilities with movement and defensive actions such as dodging, blocking, or parrying.
Hatch and level Voidlings, choose branching evolutions, upgrade species-wide skill trees, and assign attributes to shape their strengths.
