The Walking Dead

In a world overwhelmed by the undead, you play Lee Everett, a convicted criminal who takes responsibility for Clementine, an orphaned girl. Their journey is shaped by Lee's efforts to protect her and help her face a dangerous new world.

Explore locations, inspect objects, and speak with other survivors by choosing Lee's questions and responses. Some scenes include quick-time actions, while tense conversations and emergencies can require decisions before time runs out.

The five episodes track your choices, which affect relationships, dialogue, and some situations as the story unfolds. The focus is on navigating moral dilemmas and survivor conflicts, presented in a comic-book-inspired visual style.

Players frequently praise the story and cast, especially Lee and Clementine's relationship, and describe the difficult decisions as a source of tension and emotional investment. The comic-book visual style and voice performances also receive appreciation. Some reviewers note that the gameplay is simple and that choices do not always cause major changes to the story.
