You guide one of twelve civilizations through a struggle for control of an ancient galaxy, where the remnants of the Endless and the substance called Dust are part of the setting. Choose how to pursue victory, from building influence through trade and diplomacy to expanding by force.
Explore star systems, settle planets, and develop your empire’s economy and technology. Planet types, resources, anomalies, and expansion pressures shape where and how you grow. Heroes can serve as fleet admirals or system governors, with abilities that develop along class-specific trees.
Build and customize ships for different fleet roles, then choose tactics for battles that resolve around your fleets’ designs and equipment. Negotiate with rival civilizations, form or break alliances, and pursue different victory conditions. Galaxy settings and opponents can be varied between games, with multiplayer available for up to eight players.
