Pandora: First Contact is a science fiction 4X turn-based strategy game on a planetary scale. Our Earth has been exhausted and colonial attempts on other planetary bodies have been in vain. Finally, after decades of exploration, an interstellar probe has brought promise of a new world.
Developed by Proxy Studios · Published by Slitherine Ltd.

After Earth is exhausted, human factions arrive on Pandora to establish a foothold on a world inhabited by native life and remnants of an ancient alien civilization. You lead one faction as it explores the planet and competes with wildlife and rival settlers.
Found cities, expand your borders, and manage production, taxes, population jobs, and shared empire resources. Build farms, mines, forts, and other improvements, or terraform the landscape to support your colonies.
Research technologies along a randomized tree, customize units with weapons and equipment, and command armies in turn-based battles. You can also negotiate trade and research agreements, form alliances, and explore ruins for advantages.
These selected reviews are divided: several criticize the AI for aggressive, difficult-to-manage wars that push play toward military defense or conquest. Positive comments highlight the randomized research and customizable units, while some also enjoy the alien-world setting and straightforward interface. One reviewer expressed a strong desire for more in the game’s universe.
