Ghat's story is far from over: Zeno Clash 2 picks up where the deliciously brazen first game left off. After 4 years of waiting, the sequel to the surreal first-person brawler brings more variety in combat and levels, and even more bizarre storytelling into the beguiling world of Zenozoik.

Zeno Clash 2 continues Ghat’s story in the strange world of Zenozoik. Joined by his former foe Rimat, he faces hostile inhabitants as the pair work to protect their family.
Combat is built around first-person hand-to-hand fights. Punch, kick, block, dodge, and use weapons or special abilities; precision targeting and lock-on help you choose attacks and handle opponents.
Explore semi-open areas, take on side quests, and find collectibles that contribute to character upgrades. Progression improves combat skills and lets you recruit allies, while drop-in, drop-out co-op lets a friend join the campaign.
Players who enjoy the game often point to Zenozoik’s bizarre creatures and distinctive visual design, which make exploring its world memorable. Some also appreciate the physical feel of the first-person brawling and the expanded combat options. The open areas and story are more divisive: reviewers enjoy discovering the setting, while others find backtracking tedious or the narrative hard to follow.
