Worms Reloaded is a 2D turn-based strategy game in which teams of cartoon worms try to defeat one another with an arsenal of conventional and outlandish weapons. Players take turns aiming and firing across destructible landscapes.
Matches can be played solo or with up to four players locally or online. Single-player content includes tutorials, firing ranges, campaign missions, tougher Warzone scenarios, puzzles, races, Fort matches, and a survival mode against increasingly difficult waves of enemies.
Players can customize their worm teams with outfits, voices, names, and other cosmetic options. A landscape editor lets players create custom battlefields, while match settings and weapon schemes can be adjusted to change how battles play.
Players often enjoy Worms Reloaded most as a relaxed, funny game to play with friends, especially in local matches. Reviews also praise its familiar 2D Worms formula, memorable weapons, and nostalgic appeal. Some appreciate the single-player campaigns and customization, while others note that online matches can be hard to find.
