Control a team of armed worms in turn-based battles across 3D arenas. Take aim, move into position, and use an arsenal of weapons to eliminate opposing teams.
The single-player content includes story missions drawn from Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem, along with timed challenges focused on weapons and tools such as jetpacks and parachutes.
Play local or online matches for up to four players, with several multiplayer modes and customizable battle rules. You can also personalize your worms and teams, create weapons, and fight on destructible landscapes.
In this review sample, players often enjoy the chaotic turn-based matches, especially with friends, and appreciate how 3D arenas add new tactical choices. Customization, the missions and challenges, and the game's nostalgic appeal also come up positively. Some reviewers find the controls or camera awkward, and others report PC performance or connectivity problems.

| Multiplayer | The game supports online and local multiplayer for up to 4 players. Offline multiplayer can be played on one shared screen because the game is turn-based, including pass-and-play with one controller or one keyboard/gamepad setup. It includes standard and ranked online play, voice chat, custom game settings, multiple versus modes, and play against AI bots offline. |
| Multiplayer & mods | Players can customize match rules, create custom game settings, generate or save/share landscapes, customize teams, and create custom weapons for multiplayer. Reviews report some restrictions online, including missing Worm Pot modifiers online and inability to use some local-only options in online matches. Community patches are mentioned for technical fixes, not multiplayer expansion. |
