Combining action and strategy in a unique way, Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves transports you into an epic folktale co-written with best-selling Canadian author Bryan Perro (Amos Daragon, Wariwulf), in which two feuding brothers will have to put aside their differences to save their sister, who is pursued by the Devil himself!

In a supernatural folktale set in 19th-century Canada, two feuding O’Carroll brothers must put aside their differences to protect their sister from the Devil and the creatures pursuing her. You choose which brother to play.
Each day, prepare the forest for the coming night by placing traps and planning ambushes. After dark, hunt creatures directly, using wind and bait to draw them toward your defenses while staying alert to their movements.
If enemies get through, fight with a musket and axe. Fear is another tactical tool: fire can frighten wolves and scatter their packs. Develop your chosen brother through a skill system and acquire historical weapons and items as the campaign progresses.
Players who enjoy the game often highlight its distinctive mix of daytime trap planning and nighttime hunts, especially the satisfaction of luring creatures into a prepared ambush. The snowy Canadian folklore setting and atmosphere also earn praise. Some reviews find the controls and direct combat awkward, and others criticize the difficulty, repetition, or story.
