FBC: Firebreak is a cooperative first-person shooter for up to three players. You take the role of a Firebreak first responder sent into the Federal Bureau of Control’s Oldest House during a supernatural siege.
Each mission sends your crew into an anomalous crisis to complete practical tasks while fighting otherworldly enemies. You may need to repair equipment, control hazards, or deal with strange objects and environmental threats as the situation unfolds.
Before deploying, choose a weapon and customize a Crisis Kit with specialized tools, grenades, support items, and augments. Class kits and status effects can complement one another, while mission difficulty and modifiers change the conditions you face; completing missions earns resources for perks, gear, and other upgrades.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its Control-inspired setting, strange crisis scenarios, and the teamwork that comes from combining different kits and status effects. Some also enjoy its goofy character banter and the fun of tackling missions with friends. Recurring complaints include a small, repetitive mission pool, weak-feeling gunplay, uneven enemy pressure, and difficulty finding teammates.
