Backrooms Rec. is a first-person horror game about exploring strange, maze-like Backrooms environments. Play solo or with up to five others in story modes, or choose an escape mode with procedurally generated levels.
Move through distinct locations, look for clues, solve puzzles, and find a route forward while avoiding hostile entities. Flashlights and other equipment help you respond to threats, and some entities can be driven away with light.
The game features multiple levels and modes, a camera-based recording feature, and vehicles in some stages. Players can also explore or create additional levels through the Workshop.
