In Niwarn, a dimension between the human and spirit worlds, players take the role of either a Warden or a Visitor. In Survive Mode, one Warden hunts four Visitors, who must work together to complete their objective and escape.
Visitors have different abilities suited to roles such as decoy, damage, or performing rituals, while Wardens use their own stats and special abilities to track and stop them. After the objective is complete, Visitors can try to eliminate the Warden together or leave the arena on their own.
Battle Mode pits two teams of four against each other. Teams perform an awakening ritual to summon a Warden Soul; its holder becomes a Warden and hunts the other team's Visitors. Rituals can restore the Warden Soul's fading power or summon a replacement, and the team that collects the most souls before time runs out wins.
