English Intro

Zong is a first-person VR novel that takes you on a journey through ancient Eastern history and culture. As an interstellar traveler, you find yourself in the world of Zong, which is currently in a dire situation under the grips of the Five Clans of Corruption. You will be completing missions to save ancient civilization from the corruptive forces and transmit important learnings to earth, while being guided by Zong's spiritual leaders, the four Supreme Commanders. As you progress through the game, you will encounter various challenges that require strategy, skill, and wit. Get ready to cast spells, summon magical creatures, solve puzzles, collect rare items, and more!

Zong

The cosmos was in chaos, and Zong first emerged. "Dynamic spirits" and "Still spirits" are the primordial states of all things—they engender and restrain each other, acting as mutual gravitational forces.

Zong is the progenitor of advanced civilizations, composed of the Arcane Ranks and a multitude of living beings. Those who hold the title of Arcane Ranks are designated by the corresponding hierarchical grades: Supreme Commander – Primary Commander – Ancillary Commander – Auxiliary Commander. The Supreme Commanders are the highest rulers of Zong, traditionally chosen as two pairs of Primordial Conjunctions—the most virtuous and accomplished among all in Zong—totaling four commanders. The Primary Commanders are the pillars that have stood since the dawn of primordial chaos; they oversee different aspects of Zong, ensuring its normal and peaceful operation. Beneath the pillars are the Ancillary Commanders, who assist the Primary Commanders in managing various affairs across Zong. They are on the path toward becoming Primary Commanders, laboring diligently in hopes of earning recognition from the rulers of Zong. Below the Ancillary Commanders are the Auxiliary Commanders, who are neither managers nor formulators of Zong's rules, but rather adherents to them. In the day-to-day operations of Zong, they safeguard both the living beings of Zong and the lives of the Arcane Ranks.

For those who are not of the Arcane Ranks but are living beings of Zong—such as flowers, trees, grasses, serpents, birds, fish, insects, or even shadow spirits that accompany one—they are designated by the corresponding hierarchical grades for beings: Grana – Cyma – Virga – Thalla – Virgulta – Catoma – Palma – Amicula – Umbra – Silva, ranging from lowest to highest, all of whom are members of Zong. These beings are not subject to the constraints of the Arcane Ranks in their daily lives; as long as they do not violate the laws of Zong or endanger the vitality of other beings within Zong, they are free to live as they please. The beings of Zong may engage in self-cultivation, and through this process, they can elevate their Arcane Rank within Zong and correspondingly enhance their life force. Upon reaching the rank of Silva, a being gains the qualification to transform into the form of an Arcane Rank. However, should a being wish to retain its original ecological form, it may decline the opportunity to assume such a form. Thus, it is common to see within Zong that even the Arcane Ranks may appear as flowers, trees, grasses, serpents, birds, fish, insects, or shadow spirits in their company.

若⾮为将，⽽为宗界⽣灵，如花草树⽊，又如蛇鸟鱼⾍，复如影灵随⾏，则记以⽣灵相应的⽞位：“芥 - 株 - 秧 - 丛 - 齐 - ⽐ - 枝 - 蓬 - 茵 - 擎”，由低到⾼均为宗界成员。⽣灵们在⽣活上不受将的制约，只要不违逆宗界之法则，且不危害宗界其他⽣灵的⽣命⼒，便可⾃由地⽣活。宗界的⽣灵可好⽣修养，修养的过程中会提⾼⾃⼰的宗界⽞位与相应的⽣命⼒量。待⽣灵升⾄“擎”位，则可获得幻化为将形的资格，如若⽣灵想要保留⾃⼰原始的⽣态，可以拒绝化为将形的机会。因此，可常见宗界中也有将为花草树⽊、蛇鸟鱼⾍、影灵随⾏。

While maintaining its own self-sustaining operations, Zong also bears the mission of observing human activities and safeguarding the functioning of the earthly realm. Since the dawn of Zong, it has passed through the Gratia Melius and the Cordia Benevolens, and now has arrived at the Anima Gravis. In the bygone Arcane Eras, Zong perceived humanity's growing desire to obtain more information from Zong, and observed that among humans—some burned incense, some lit candles, some prayed, some cried out, and some went so far as to attempt entering Zong by means unacceptable to the Zong lineage, seeking to probe its realities and spy on the movements within. To prevent human curiosity from breaching the boundary between Zong and the human race, Zong resolved to select suitable humans, granting them the authority to operate and exchange information within Zong. If they could withstand the trials of Zong, they would be bestowed with the Tabulae Grana, charging the chosen individuals to transmit the letters to the earthly realm, thereby serving as human envoys bridging Zong and the human world. The contents of the missives vary, yet each without exception pertains to the Seven Principal Themes of Human Life: Vitality, Prosperity, Charity, Consanguinity, Devotion, Erudition, and Amity.

In the bygone Arcane Eras, Zong once selected certain humans to enter its realm—yet to its dismay, these humans failed to abide by the established rules and wantonly divulged the secrets of Zong. Zong had no choice but to revoke their ability to commune with the heavenly spirits and deny them any possibility of rebirth or re-creation..

在过往的纪元⾥，宗界曾经挑选过⼀些⼈类进⼊宗界，却不想⼈类并没有遵守既定的规则，肆意地泄漏宗界机密，宗界只能剥夺他们通达天灵的能⼒，并不予以重⽣再造的可能。

The player's role

The player shall enter Zong as their true "self," without assuming any virtual persona. At this moment, the realm of Zong the player enters is in the midst of the Anima Gravis Arcane Era.

玩家将以真实的“⾃⼰”进⼊宗界，⽆需充当任何虚拟⾓⾊，此时玩家所进⼊的宗界正值稠念纪元。

Zong as the Player Faces It

In the Anima Gravis Arcane Era, the sun sinks into the torrent. Among the Auxiliary Commanders, rebels have become a common sight—these commanders, who once aspired to the "truth, goodness, and beauty," were influenced by humans who had entered Zong to spy on its inner workings in past Arcane Eras. Having absorbed too much of humanity's murky and obscuring qi, they began to tread a path of defiance against Zong. After accumulating over multiple Arcane Eras, these rebellious Auxiliary Commanders have gradually coalesced into the five great clans—Libentia, Ignominia, Avaritia, Procella, and Furia—each clan wreaking havoc upon Zong with its distinct traits. Their understanding of Zong has long since diverged from the generosity and righteousness of their forebears. Their conduct and inclinations have increasingly turned toward taking delight in persecuting other Arcane Ranks and living beings, plunging them into deep misery and distress:

• Libentia: Those of Libentia do not seek to harm other Arcane Ranks as their goal, yet they often do things that displease them. They derive profound satisfaction and joy from the very displeasure and aversion visibly displayed by others.

• Ignominia: Those of Ignominia wield words as their primary weapon. They delight in using speech to provoke disgust and repulsion in others, and possess certain skills that shield their verbal assaults from being countered or turned back upon themselves.

• Avaritia: Those of Avaritia find their sole source of pleasure in depriving other Arcane Ranks of life and property. Brutal and callous, they rarely exhibit exaggerated expressions or overt gestures; their modus operandi is simply to silently slay other Arcane Ranks and beings of Zong, marking their deeds, thereby gratifying the sentiments they harbor toward the very fabric of Zong's temporal-spatial realm.

• Procella: Those of Procella specialize in "throwing the endeavors of others into chaos" as their delight. They are ever eager to probe into the affairs of other Arcane Ranks, learning of their intended courses of action, and then corrupting their spiritual roots to render their plans unattainable. They are fervently devoted to disrupting the trajectories of others, believing that their very purpose in this dimensional expanse is to ensure that others cannot accomplish what they set out to achieve.

• Furia: Those of Furia are prone to wrath, yet their anger never betrays itself upon their countenance. They deal devastation through explosive, crushing strikes, and even after inflicting such damage, their fury remains unappeased. They take no pleasure in verbal attacks. Unlike those of Avaritia, they do not rejoice in the taking of lives; rather, they delight in having many witnesses behold their explosive assaults upon a single target. Whenever the malevolent thoughts of Furia erupt, multiple Arcane Ranks are invariably present to bear witness.

玩家所⾯临的宗界：

稠念纪元，⽇沉洪流。⼠将中屡见不鲜宗界中的叛乱分⼦，原本也是向往“真善美”的⼠将们在过去的纪元⾥，受进⼊宗界中窥视究竟的⼈类的影响，吸⼊了太多⼈类的晦涩之⽓，开始⾛向⼀条挑衅宗界的道路。经过多个纪元的积累，现叛乱的⼠将们逐渐形成“流”、“耻”、“欲”、“扯”、“嗔”五⼤系，每个系都以不同的特质为祸于宗界，他们对于宗界的认知已早不如他们的先宗⼀样慷慨正义，他们的⾏为模式与性格倾向逐渐趋向于以迫害宗界他将与其他⽣灵为乐，让其他将们及⽣灵们处于⽔深⽕热之中：

“流”系：流者不以伤害他将为⽬的，但他们常作出让他将们不开⼼的事情，他们常能从他将表⾯所呈现出来的不开⼼以及反感中获得灵魂深处的满⾜与快乐；

“耻”系：耻者多⽤于⾔语，他们喜欢⽤⾔语来让他将厌恶以及反感，他们⽤有⼀定的技能可以保护⾃⼰攻击他⼈的⾔语不被反攻击；

“欲”系：欲者专以剥夺他将的⽣命与财产为快乐的源泉。他们暴虐冷酷，常⽆夸张的表情、夸张的⾏为，他们的⾏为模式只是默默地将他将以及宗界⽣灵杀害，并做上标记，以此来满⾜他们对于宗界时空所寄托的感情；

“扯”系：扯者，专以“乱他将所为”为快乐。他们常常乐于探索宗界中他将的信息，知道其他将们接下来的⾏动⽅向，然后祸其灵根，让其他宗将⽆法实施⾃⼰的计划，他们对于打乱他将的总结轨迹充满热爱，他们觉得来到这⽅天地时空的意义在于让他将办不到他们想要办到的事情；

“嗔”系：嗔者易怒，且怒不形于⾊。多以爆击式伤害对他将造成重创，且造成伤害的同时仍不能平其怒。嗔者不喜⾔语攻击。与欲者不同，嗔者不以褫夺他⼈⽣命为喜，嗔者以多将见证他对某将的爆击伤害为喜。嗔者爆发邪念时，均有多名宗将在场。

As time wore on, the Coalition of the Five Clans of Corruption grew increasingly powerful. They began to plunder and steal various ability scrolls, seeking to gain control over the living beings of Zong. At the same time, they subjected the other Arcane Ranks within Zong to unrelenting persecution. In the Anima Gravis Arcane Era, the Five Clans gradually drained the waters of the Centiwell—the very source upon which the Arcane Ranks of Zong relied on to sustain their memories. Deprived of this fount of remembrance, the Arcane Ranks scattered in disarray, their whereabouts unknown.

The Player's Mission

When the player first enters Zong, they will encounter Sol—the first Supreme Commander of Zong—at Centiwell. Sol will tell the player that, having obtained The Spiritual Eye of Retinentia, he has retained all his memories intact. He invites the player to set off with him immediately, to help him find his scattered and displaced kin, and to aid in restoring their memories. At the same time, the player must join Sol in seeking a way to save the Centiwell. Sol asks the player what they do in the earthly realm of the human world, and warns them that the road ahead is fraught with perils. He expresses his hope that the player will find a sense of purpose within Zong, and journey forth with a heart full of accomplishment at every step.

The player will later learn through the heavenly spirit of Simian that Zong has been divided by the Five Clans into the Septo-Dimensions, each sealed with barriers of arcane obstruction. These seven dimensions are:

• The Dimension of Primordial Initiation

• The Dimension of Benevolent Perseverance

• The Dimension of Sibling Fondness

• The Dimension of Amatory Desire

• The Dimension of Perennial Verdure

• The Dimension of Multiversal Connection

• The Dimension of Gracious Transcendence.

The Five Clans have lured the twenty-eight ruling Arcane Ranks of Zong into these seven distinct dimensions, with four Arcane Ranks confined within each. The four within any given dimension may only come to know one another within that same dimensional confine, unable to breach its boundaries. At present, both the player and Sol find themselves trapped within the first dimension—the Dimension of Primordial Initiation. Within this dimension, two other Supreme Commanders of Zong await their discovery. Only the player can successfully lead the ruling Arcane Ranks from each dimension to a secret sanctuary to recover their memories, while Sol must remain confined to the first dimension. The player must pass through the trials of all Septo-Dimensions in order to rescue the scattered Arcane Ranks currently adrift within them, escort them to the secret sanctuary for memory restoration, and simultaneously uncover the means to save the waters of the Centiwell.

玩家的使命：

当玩家初次进⼊宗界，会在百井⽳遇见宗界的第⼀位上上将兵，兵会告诉向玩家他因为取得了记忆灵后裔的瞳孔，所以仍然保持着全部的记忆⼒，他邀请玩家与他即刻启程，帮他找到⾃⼰四散流离的族裔，并且帮助他们恢复记忆。与此同时，玩家还需要和兵⼀起找到拯救百井的⽅法。兵询问玩家在⼈间地球上都做些什么，并告诉玩家前路困难重重，希望玩家在宗界⾥收获存在感，并⼀路满载成就感。

玩家会在后来通过禀禹的天门灵了解到此时的宗界已被五系⽤拆分成了七⼤回门，且布了法障。这七⼤回门分别是：

• 第⼀回门——宗动门；

• 第⼆回门——举仁门；

• 第三回门——姊幼门；

• 第四回门——欢涩门；

• 第五回门——长青门；

• 第六回门——世连门；

• 第七回门——永隽门。

五系把宗界⼆⼗⼋位掌将引到这七道不同的回门之中，每道回门中有四位掌将，四将只能在同⼀回门中相识，⽆法突破这回门之沿。⽽⽬前玩家与兵深陷于第⼀回门——宗动门。宗动门⾥还有另外两位宗界上上将等待他们去寻找，且只有玩家可以成功地把每⼀道回门中的掌将带⼊秘密驻地去恢复记忆，⽽兵只能留在第⼀回门之中。玩家需要通过七⼤回门的考验，才能解救⽬前在不同回门中游荡的各位宗将，将其带⼊秘密驻地疗养记忆⾥，同时寻找出解救百井⽔源的⽅法。

Player Experiences

The player will be able to communicate with the beings of Zong through the Zong's Imprint bestowed by Sol. The player's journey within Zong may be broadly divided into three dimensions: first, challenge and combat; second, livelihood and production; and third, love and companionship.

• First: Throughout the passage of the Septo-Dimensions, the player will encounter challenges of every kind. For instance, within the first dimension—the Dimension of Primordial Initiation—the player must do battle with the Offenders of Zong, fight the Osteospectral Tiger, assist Ves in gathering Papaver rhoeas, join forces with others to confront the Barrier of Furia, face the "Two Dragons Emerging from Water," and more.

• Second: Amidst the trials and tribulations, the player will also experience the rich and varied life of Zong—such as helping Phae prepare silver bean cakes, crafting Jade suits alongside Sol, and more.

• Third: Along the path through the Septo-Dimensions, the player will encounter living beings of Zong—serpents, birds, fish, insects, and the like. The player may choose to bring them along on the journey, or to pay them no heed.

Only after passing through the layered trials of each dimension and experiencing the full spectrum of life within them can the player earn the trust of the Arcane Ranks, becoming their companion on the road ahead. In time, the player will gradually become a faithful envoy bridging humanity and Zong, entrusted with delivering the Tabulae Grana from Zong to the earthly realm.

玩家的经历：

玩家会通过兵给予的宗印来与宗界生灵沟通交流，在宗界中的经历，可以大概分为三个层面，第一：挑战与斗争；第二：生活和生产；第三：爱与陪伴。

• 第一：在历经这七大回门的过程中，玩家会遇到形形色色的挑战，例如在第一回门——宗动门的经历中，玩家需要斗战宗犯、斗战宗灵骨透虎、帮助贾捻虞美人、与一众一起斗战嗔帐、二龙出水等等。

• 第二：披荆斩棘的同时，玩家也会历经丰富多彩的宗界生活，比如帮助秀制作菽块、与兵一起炮制玉柙等等。

• 第三：玩家也会在走过七大回门的路途之中，遇见蛇鸟鱼虫之类的宗界生灵，玩家可以带上他们一起上路，也可以选择置之不理。 当玩家通过每一个回门的层层考验、历经每一个回门之内的生活百态，方可获得一众宗将的信任，成为与宗将们一同前行的伙伴，也会慢慢成为连接人类与宗界之间的信者，帮助将宗界的周秭信函传送到人间地球。

Player's Gains

The player's experiences and growth throughout Zong will be recorded and reflected through the Pitasarah tree, with their progression ranking displayed via Pitasarah values. Moreover, Pitasarah can serve many other purposes—for instance, it can be used to awaken the heavenly spirits within various Zong artifacts, thereby granting the player access to those artifacts. The Arcane Ranks accompanying the player will take great interest in the player's well-being and daily life, and will encourage them to press forward with courage. Within Zong, the player will not only achieve self-transcendence, but also receive genuine and profound care and affection.

玩家所得：

玩家在宗界中的经历细节、成长过程会通过文旦树来记录反馈，玩家们的成长排位会通过文旦值来反馈，同时，文旦还可以作许多用途，例如可以用文旦来点亮宗界中不同宗器的天门灵，从而获得该宗器等等。各位同行的宗将会十分关心玩家的状态和生活宗将们也会鼓励玩家一路勇往直前，玩家能在宗界里实现自我超越，并且得到真挚又强烈的关心和爱。

First Dimension: Dimension of Primordial Initiation

The player enters Zong as themselves, meets Sol, and gets the Primordial Imprint. It's the Anima Gravis era. The Five Clans stole the Hundred Wells' water, making Generals lose their memories. Sol asks the player to find his lost kin and restore their memories. The player meets Ves, Eon, and Phae, helps them through trials: pressing 73 buttons, drawing a sword, piercing a controller, fighting bronze rat and Two Dragons, etc. Simian gives gifts. Sol offers Zong artifacts for Pitasarah fragments, teaches a mantra, then leaves. The player sails into the water barrier.

第一回门：宗动门：

玩家以真实身份进入宗界，遇上将兵获宗印。时为稠念纪元，五系联盟偷取百井水源，致众将记忆流失。兵邀玩家寻找失散族裔、恢复记忆。先后遇见贾、永、秀三位上上将，助其通过重重考验：比云梯按下73枚按钮、悬棺崖拔出请缨剑、金盔银甲刺穿控制器、嗔帐斗铜鼠破禅钟、祀月洞接蛇取胆汁制菽浆、消洪岭战五只衿酉嶙及双龙。禀禹赠离散之眼、白毓土、斗伞。战后兵陈列十三件宗器供玩家以文旦粒兑换，授“同宗心诀”后离去。玩家驶入水障......

Synopsis

LV1 - The Centiwell

• As the player, you will enter Zong as your true self on human earth, and meet one of the four Supreme Commanders in the Cave of Centiwell. Sol sees your appearance and senses the human aura from you, he then quickly stamps Zong's Imprint on your finger. Zong's Imprint connects humans and Zong for information exchange. Only with Zong's Imprint can Zong's beings hear the voices of humans, and only with the Imprint can humans move freely in the world of Zong. Sol tells you that the current time and space is Era of Anima Gravis...

关卡一：百井涸

• 作为玩家，你将作为人间地球上真实的自己进入宗界，并在百井穴中遇见四位上上将之一——兵。兵看到你的模样，感知到了你身上的人类气息，便迅速将宗印印在你的手指上。宗印连接着人类与宗界，用以交流信息。唯有拥有宗印，宗界的生灵才能听见人类的声音；也唯有拥有宗印，人类才能在宗界的世界中自由行动。兵告诉你，当下的时空正值稠念纪元……

LV2 - Cliffside Tiger

• When Sol and you walk out of the secret passageway of Centiwell, a dangerous cliff appears in front of you. Sol tells you that this place is called "Boreas Gorge". Standing on the edge of the cliff, Sol notices that there is an Osteospectral Tiger nearby. He tells you to pay attention to your own safety, because the Osteospectral Tiger would attack humans from the earth...

LV3 - The Captives

• Sol snaps his fingers and recites the Mantra Karida, an old wooden bridge connecting the cliffs on both sides appearing in front of you. Sol tells you that this bridge is called "Bridge of Atomos". Those who have committed wrongs in the dimension of Zong—commonly referred to as the Captives of Zong—are hung by their ankles underneath the bridge, facing into the abyss below, as a stern reprimand of their egregious offenses. Even though living beings native to Zong can traverse the bridge with ease, a foreign being such as yourself will weigh it down significantly, alerting the Captives of Zong of your presence. They will flock to attack you once they become aware of you...

The information shows that the flower in the sky is called Papaver Rhoeas. Soon, Ves appears in the glowing light of Papver Rhoeas. Ves is one of the four Supreme Commanders in Zong during the arcane era of Anima Gravis, who is in a Spiritual Conjunction with Sol. Ves is often lachrymose and frequently recounts tales of past sufferings, bygone longings, and ancestral accomplishments. Her wistful tales are memorialized in melodies abundant with emotions and commendable virtues. She has lost her memory and the ability to memorize in the Era of Anima Gravis. As she senses your human identity, she decides to pave a flower ledge for you...

LV5 - Jade Burial Suit

• After you break the Flower Ledge, you start taking a flower raft with Ves and Sol to traverse in the river. Suddenly, a huge crucible slowly appears in the center of Boreas Gorge. Sol looks a little surprised. He tells you that this crucible was used to make Jade Burial Suits. A Jade Burial Suit is created by stringing precious jade stones from Lake Li’er with the Golden Strings from Zong's Canaries, which are then fused together with the flames of burning Papaver Rhoeas. Creating and offering Jade Suits in sacrifices is one of the highest forms of memorial ceremonies in Zong. Jade Suits can be used to honor Commanders who have perished. Depending on the circumstances of a Commander’s passing, such as location or cause of death, a Jade Suit can be burned, worn, submerged, or catapulted during their memorial ceremony...

• After you collect Jade Burial Suit in LV5, you approach ahead with Sol and Ves together on the flower raft. The gloomy wind in Boreas Gorge is fierce, and an ape statue appears in front of you. Simian was a Zong Commander whose true form was an ape. Known for his exceptional valor and benevolence, Simian would come to any living being or Commander’s rescue if they’re at risk of being harmed by vicious forces. Simian’s offsprings have formed a close bond with each other; they live in harmony and leave their mortal coil in pairs. After Simian passed away, each of his offsprings retrieved a mouthful of white soil at the peak of Mount Almitas. They sculpted the soil after Simian’s image on top of the mountain where Simian last appeared. The mountain was therefore named Mount Simian...

LV7 - The Cloud-Mounting Ladder

• After leaving Mount of Simian, the player, Sol, and Phae raft into a gorge where thunderous clouds swirl—the Cloud-Mounting Ladder. Two giant pillars bristle with rotating levers (30°–120°), some tipped with red buttons. Sol explains that Arcane Ranks can fly straight to Hanging-Coffin Cliff, but the player must dodge the levers and press 73 red buttons to stop the ladder. Warning of lightning interference, Sol carries the sleeping Ves to the cliff. After the player's tenth press, Sol joins in—his presses don't count. When all 73 buttons glow, the ladder stops. Sol chants the Mantra Kardia, and they ascend.

LV8 - Hanging-Coffin Cliff

• The player ascends to Hanging-Coffin Cliff. A suspended coffin hums with fallen Zong spirits. A sword trembles within a stone crevice, glowing violet. Sol finds no trace of Eon. Raising the Invisible Dhvaja, Sol determines Eon is ahead and unhidden. The player fails to draw the sword. They open the coffin—a military scroll emerges. The player follows its method and draws the "Valorous Wish". Ves cries out—the heavenly spirit of Bande emerges, restoring Ves's memory of Sol. Eon appears. Sol proposes helping Eon recover his golden helmet and silver armor in exchange for restoring his memories. Eon agrees to gift the sword if the player succeeds. The group descends to the floral raft and continues onward...

LV9 - Golden Helmet and Silver Armor

• The golden helmet and silver armor appear, spinning rapidly to surround the group. The player's Zong's Imprint triggers the Eye of Discernment. Sol suspects the Five Clans have corrupted the heavenly spirits within.The player sees two faceless spirits—each with a glowing yellow ring on its abdomen: a controller. Sol and Ves attack the Helm. Eon and the player face the Armor. The Armor spirit attacks from five directions. The player must pierce its controller with the "Valorous Wish". Each hit costs 5 Pitasarah fragments.After defeating both spirits, the Helm and Armor return to Eon. He gifts the sword to the player. The group continues their search for Phae…

• The raft sails into mist of green and gold interwoven. Sol identifies it as the "The Barrier of Furia," a trap of the Five Clans. Inside, the player fans a banana leaf to dispel mist within 2 meters — after 3 seconds, it rushes back at 2 m/s. Eon uses his Smoke Array; Sol and Ves fan together.At 2 minutes and 30 seconds, four maroon air sacs appear. Each breaks open, releasing bronze rat, rooster, snake, and a headless ox. Ves's tear falls on the ox head. The mist vanishes.The rat attacks. Then Nephri's staff traps the three Generals inside a bell. The player withstands 31 strikes alone. Eon recalls a Mantra Kardia — the Sword of Invocation blazes violet with a green pearl on its hilt. After ten heavy blows, bell and staff rise. The three escape. They continue seeking Phae…

LV11 - Cave Reverentia

• The floral raft enters red translucent Cave Reverentia. Its ceiling—crimson soil of looms from Pallium. UI prompts collecting a handful; five soils yield "Mantra Kardia of the Five Soils." Vines harbor Fossa Snakes—serpentine with dragon claws, golden cruciform bellies. Phae dances in white light, memory-lost. She tests the player: catch 180+ airborne snakes barehanded in 12 minutes. Passing, Phae produces a Flora Straw for bile extraction—or repel Buteo with Wingblade Lasso; bile extraction triggers Buteo swarms and random events. Success lets Phae open the exit. The raft sails on...

关卡十一：祀月洞

• 花筏驶入红色透明的祀月洞。洞顶为慈化纪元上将扶巾所毁机杼之土——赤锭土凝聚而成。UI提示玩家可于此收取一抔赤锭土，集五土可得“五土心诀”。洞内藤蔓密布，庸渠蛇盘踞——形似蛇而有龙爪，腹有十字金光。一束白光映照下，秀翩然起舞，却对众人失去记忆。秀提议考验玩家能力：十二分钟内徒手接住腾空的庸渠蛇，放入竹篓，接蛇数需达180条以上。通过后，秀取出蓊管，与玩家合作取胆汁。玩家可选择取胆汁或退散漭鵟。取胆汁时，漭鵟数量随滴数激增，伴随随机意外事件；退散漭鵟则需用栖翼绳阻击。合作完成且达标后，秀引导玩家打开洞中出口，花筏继续前行……

LV12 - Silver Bean Pond

• The raft reaches a carbon-black stone wall with shifting patterns. Phae calls it the "Third Minor Trial." After the player selects a Zong artifact, Phae spits a gleaming "silver bean" into the wall, and the player traces circles around it with the artifact, carving a vortex cavity. Phae hands a vine and orders 100 stirs to solidify the gel into bean pulp. At stir 60, a being emerges. A Fossa Snake appears, begging to be taken in the Creatura Voluta—the player may accept or refuse. At 100 stirs, Phae adds snake bile; the pulp bursts with purple-gold light. Phae summons a female Humus Spider to spin silk, and the player dips in their hand—thenceforth immune to frost and flame. The wall collapses. UI prompts collecting crimson soil of looms. Three Arcane Ranks appear. Phae agrees to join. They press onward…

• The raft reaches Floodway Ridge. Torrents rage, burying countless lost souls. Sol fears the Five Clans will summon them. Bande—leader of Procella—descends, taunting that they've obtained the Spirit-summon Silk. Phae binds his neck with her hair. Enraged, Bande summons five Ribbon Alp Scorpions: Lightning, Spitting Fire, Scattered Wind, Flooding Aqua, Exploding Thunder. Sol, Ves, Eon, and Phae each fight one; the player battles the Flooding Aqua scorpion with the Umbrella Pugna—defending from all sides, landing 100 hits with wood peppercorns. The four return victorious. Bande chants again—two ships emblazoned with "Procella" rise. Formations shift. Fade to black…

关卡十三：消洪岭（一）

• 花筏行至消洪岭，水势湍急，渊底埋藏无数冤殒之灵。兵担心五系召唤回灵，后患无穷。“扯”系首领贲艾从天而降，以谄媚挑衅一众，声称五系已获调灵帛书。秀以发丝锁其脖颈，贲艾大怒，唤出五只衿酉嶙：闪电、喷火、散风、淹水、炸雷。兵、贾、永、秀各战一兽，玩家以斗伞对抗淹水衿酉嶙。玩家需防御前后左右袭来的水浪，将伞尖精准切入三层碰撞范围，并以木椒子击中衿酉嶙100次方能取胜。四将击败各自神兽后返回花筏。贲艾再念心诀，两艘绣有“扯”字的船只自水下升起，阵型变幻莫测。画面渐黑，待续……

LV14 - Floodway Ridge (Part Two)

• Ves deploys the Well-shaped matrix to stall two warships. Bande breaks it, unleashing arrows. Sol uses bamboo crosses, Ves a halberd, Eon radish darts, Phae bean rings—while the player wields DUNXUN to absorb arrows, gaining Pitasarah fragments per catch, losing if struck. Ships extend ox-tongues; four Arcane Ranks net them; the player strikes 38 times with DUNXUN's white thorns to destroy. Ships form "M," releasing twin dragons. Eon and Phae clamp with ribbons; the player lures dragons with DUNXUN's pearl to weaken fury, then hooks with Changyi scythe. The player adapts attacks using "Valorous Wish," Umbrella Pugna, Changyi, and DUNXUN. After 5,000 hits, dragons fall. Sol gifts DUNXUN to the player. A gale sweeps them away…

LV15 - Reward Pool

• Sol bestows thirteen Zong artifacts: Morning-glory spear, Hammer of Yawu, Buckthorn Whips, Magnolia Chain, Gan Qi, Fresh Branch Cane, Golden Eagle Claw, Humus Fishing Rod, Xuanqu Cage, Yuguai Staff, Purple Aster Cudgel, Qingma Rope, and Shichen Ring. The player may exchange Pitasarah spheres for them, or purchase Zong rice to trade for one. The player scatters rice into the river, summoning water spheres, and fills the grain indentations to send a message to the human realm—receiving 1,000 Pitasarah fragments in return. Sol recites the "Mantra Kardia of Shared Zong" and vanishes into the wind. The player enters the water barrier—the Dimension of Primordial Initiation comes to an end.

第十五关：回门结

• 兵赠十三宗器：朝颜槊、轧芴锤、鼠李鞭、辛夷链、干戚、鲜支拐、金雕抓、夷陆钓、宣曲笼、迂怪棍、紫菀殳、苘麻绳、失晨环。玩家以文旦球兑换，亦可购宗稻换其一。玩家向江中撒米，召水球，以米粒填刻痕发信至人间，获赠1000文旦粒。兵授“同宗心诀”后化风而去。玩家入水障，第一回门终。

LV7 - The Cloud-Mounting Ladder

• Avoid being hit by the rotating levers of the Cloud-Mounting Ladder; each collision costs you 10 Pitasarah fragments.

• Press 73 red buttons scattered on the levers to stop the Cloud-Mounting Ladder; each correct press earns 7 Pitasarah fragments.

• Withstand lightning flashes that obscure your vision while locating the shifting buttons.

• After pressing the 10th button, Sol returns from the cliff to assist you (his presses don't count toward your goal).

• Once all 73 buttons are pressed, board the Cloud-Mounting Ladder with Sol as he recites the Mantra Kardia to ascend to the Hanging-Coffin Cliff.

关卡七： 比云梯

• 躲避比云梯旋转杠杆的撞击；每次碰撞消耗10文旦粒。

• 按下散布在杠杆上的73枚红色按钮以停转比云梯；每正确按下一枚获得7文旦粒。

• 忍受干扰视线的闪电，同时定位不断移动的按钮。

• 按下第10枚按钮后，兵从悬棺崖返回协助你（他所按的按钮不计入你的目标进度）。

• 待73枚按钮全部点亮，与兵一同登上比云梯，由他念诵心诀，升至悬棺崖。

• 心诀·召唤禀禺之天门灵。

LV8 - Hanging-Coffin Cliff

• Assist Sol in pushing open the suspended coffin lid and retrieve the Creatura Voluta from inside.

• Unroll the scroll and have Sol recite the military text to learn the extraction chant for the "Valorous Wish".

• Rotate the "Valorous Wish" three times counterclockwise, then once clockwise as instructed.

• Call out "Hongyan" (swan goose); after it flies back to the hilt, pull out the "Valorous Wish".

• Hand the "Valorous Wish" to Eon and watch him demonstrate splitting stone, slicing iron, and long‑range cliff breaking.

• Take back the "Valorous Wish" and personally strike a rock to test its basic power.

• Descend with Sol, Eon, and Ves on the Cloud-Mounting Ladder back into the depths of the canyon.

关卡八：悬棺崖

• 协助兵推开悬棺棺盖，从中取出生灵卷轴。

• 展开卷轴，让兵念诵其中兵书，习得请缨剑的拔剑口诀。

• 按指示将请缨剑逆时针旋转三圈，再顺时针旋转一圈。

• 喊出“鸿雁”，待其飞回剑柄后，拔出请缨剑。

• 将请缨剑交给永，观摩他演示劈石、断铁及远程碎崖。

• 取回请缨剑，亲自击石以测试其基本威力。

• 与兵、永、贾一同乘比云梯降回峡谷深处。

LV9 - Golden Helmet and Silver Armor

• Board the floral raft with Sol, Ves, and Eon; listen to the clashing sounds of battle as the golden helmet and silver armor appear and circle the raft.

• Activate the Eye of Discernment to see the heavenly spirits trapped inside the armor and the glowing controllers on their abdomens.

• Fight alongside Eon against the Silver Armor's heavenly spirit: use the "Valorous Wish" to strike its steel rings and avoid being hit (each hit costs 5 Pitasarah fragments, each strike on the spirit or rings gains 5 fragments).

• Fully pierce the controller on the Silver Armor's abdomen to defeat it (gain 100 fragments); if fragments drop to zero or below, fail and choose Temporal-Spatial Reset or restart from Level 1.

• After defeating the Silver Armor, Sol captures the Golden Helmet's heavenly spirit; quickly stab its controller with the "Valorous Wish" when Sol calls out.

• If you hesitate too long, Sol will grab the sword and stab the controller for you.

• Once both heavenly spirits are vanquished, the golden helmet and silver armor return to Eon; Eon formally grants you the "Valorous Wish" as your own Arcane weapon, recorded in your Zong's Imprint.

关卡九：金盔银甲

• 与兵、贾、永登上花筏；聆听激战之声，金盔银甲现身并环绕花筏盘旋。

• 激活离散之眼，窥见被困于甲胄内的天门灵，及其腹部闪烁的控制器。

• 与永并肩对战银甲天门灵：用请缨剑击打其钢环，同时避免被击中（每次被击消耗5文旦粒，每次击中天门灵或钢环获得5文旦粒）。

• 彻底刺穿银甲腹部的控制器以将其击败（获得100文旦粒）；若文旦粒降至零或以下则失败，可选择时空倒置或从第一关重来。

• 击败银甲后，兵擒住金甲天门灵；待兵发令时，迅速用请缨剑刺向其控制器。

• 若犹豫过久，兵将夺剑代为刺入。

• 双灵皆灭后，金盔银甲回归永身；永正式将请缨剑赐予你作为宗器，记录于你的宗印之中。

LV10 - Barrier of Furia

• Continuously fan the banana leaf to dispel the mist of the Barrier of Furia; avoid mist contact to prevent Pitasarah fragment loss (1 fragment lost per second of contact, 1 fragment gained per fan).

• Reach the four air sacs and personally burst one of them to obtain a wooden slip inscribed with a verse.

• Work with Sol, Ves, and Eon to interpret the four verses, solving the puzzle of the Triple Combinations, Six Combinations, and the animal directions (Snake, Rooster, Ox, Rat).

• After Eon triggers the Bronze Rat, fight it with the "Valorous Wish"; each hit on the rat gains 10 fragments, each hit received loses 10 fragments.

• Follow Ves to approach the Ox Head; wait for her tears to corrode it, completely breaking the Barrier of Furia.

• After the Zen Bell traps the three Arcane Ranks, battle the Nephrite Staff using the "Valorous Wish" against its four techniques (Lift, Stitch, Slant, Cover); survive 30 consecutive attacks.

• Once Eon recites the Mantra Kardia to empower the "Valorous Wish", strike the Nephrite Staff with flame‑enhanced heavy blows 10 times, reducing its speed to zero.

• Repel the staff and the Zen Bell, rescue Sol, Ves, and Eon, and continue forward on the floral raft.

关卡十：嗔帐渡厄

• 持续扇动芭蕉叶以驱散嗔帐迷雾；避免接触雾气，以防文旦粒流失（每接触1秒损失1文旦粒，每扇动一次获得1文旦粒）。

• 抵达四个气囊处，亲自击破其中一个，获得一枚刻有诗句的木简。

• 与兵、贾、永一同解读四句诗文，解开三合、六合及生肖方位（蛇、鸡、牛、鼠）的谜题。

• 永触发铜鼠后，用请缨剑与之战斗；每击中铜鼠获得10文旦粒，每被击中损失10文旦粒。

• 跟随贾靠近牛首，等待她的泪水将其腐蚀，彻底击破嗔帐。

• 禅钟困住三位宗将后，用请缨剑对抗珞琭玄杖的四式（挑、刺、斜、盖），撑过连续30次攻击。

• 待永诵念心诀为请缨剑注能后，以烈焰加持的重击连击珞琭玄杖10次，将其速度降至零。

• 击退玄杖与禅钟，救出兵、贾、永，乘花筏继续前行。

LV11 - Cave Reverentia

• Enter the Cave Reverentia on the floral raft; learn about the crimson soil of looms and the story of the ancient commander Pallium destroying all looms.

• Meet Phae; after Sol's introduction, accept her three trials.

• Trial 1: Catch the rising Fossa Snakes barehanded within 12 minutes; use both hands, place each caught snake into the bamboo basket (one at a time); exceeding the limit loses Pitasarah fragments; catch at least 180 snakes.

• Trial 2 (choose one of two paths):

  • Extract bile: Use a Flora Straw to draw bile from the golden cross on the snake's abdomen, preventing the snake from slipping away; as bile drops increase, Buteo swarm; Phae uses her hair transformed into ropes to knock them down; you must obtain at least 90% of the bile from the caught snakes.

  • Dispel the Buteo: Wield a Wingblade Lasso to drive away the Buteo entering the cave; each repelled bird gains fragments; failing to repel more than 60 birds results in failure; you can voice‑request Phae to recite a Mantra Kardia to enhance the rope's power.

• After completing either path, you may use Temporal-Spatial Reset to experience the other.

• Once both trials are passed, Phae opens the cave's other exit; continues forward on the floral raft.

关卡十一：祀月洞

• 乘花筏进入祀月洞；了解赤锭土的由来及上古上将扶巾毁尽机杼的往事。

• 遇见秀；经兵介绍后，接受她的三项试炼。

• 试炼一：12分钟内徒手捉住腾空的庸渠蛇；双手并用，将所捉之蛇逐一放入竹篓（每次一条）；超出时间限制则损失文旦粒；至少捉满180条。

• 试炼二（二选一）：

  • 取胆汁：用蓊管从蛇腹金色十字处抽取胆汁，防止蛇身滑脱；随着胆汁滴数增加，漭鵟群涌而至；秀以发丝化为绳索将其击落；须从所捉之蛇中提取至少90%的胆汁。

  • 驱散漭鵟：挥动栖翼绳驱赶进入洞内的漭鵟；每驱散一只获得文旦粒；若未能驱散超过60只则失败；可语音请求秀诵念心诀以增强绳力。

• 完成任一分支后，可使用时空倒置体验另一分支。

• 两项试炼皆通过后，秀开启洞穴另一出口；乘花筏继续前行。

LV12 - Silver Bean Pond

• Before the carbon‑black wall in the Cave Reverentia, choose one Arcane weapon (Invisible Dhvaja or "Valorous Wish").

• Target the silver bean and carve a full circle on the wall with the weapon (pausing >3 seconds fails).

• Take a vine and stir the bean pulp vortex 100 times following the marked ring (each stir +2 Pitasarah fragments) until it solidifies.

• A Fossa Snake appears during stirring; decide whether to take it into the Creatura Voluta (it can assist you later).

• Yinshengniang emerges from stir 60 onward; at 100 stirs the bean pulp fully congeals.

• Pour in the bile to trigger purple‑gold light; the Humus Spider spins a web for 1.5 minutes.

• After webbing, place both hands on the bean pulp block to gain a golden protective film (immune to heat and cold).

• Phae absorbs the bean pulp block; the wall collapses, opening the cave's other exit.

• Collect the falling crimson soil of looms into the Creatura Voluta.

• Sol, Ves, and Eon reappear; all four commanders sail onward with you on the floral raft.

关卡十二：菽浆池

• 于祀月洞碳黑石壁前，选择一件宗器（隐身幢或请缨剑）。

• 瞄准银菽，用宗器在壁上画出一个完整的圆（停顿超过3秒即失败）。

• 取藤条沿标记圆环搅拌菽浆漩涡100圈（每搅一圈获得2文旦粒），直至凝固。

• 搅拌途中出现庸渠蛇，可选择是否将其收入生灵卷轴（日后可助你一臂之力）。

• 搅拌至60圈时茵生娘现身；满100圈后菽浆完全凝结。

• 倒入胆汁引发紫金光华；夷陆蛛吐丝织网，持续1.5分钟。

• 结网后，双手覆于菽块之上，获得金色护膜（从此不畏寒暑）。

• 秀将菽块吸收，石壁崩塌，开启洞穴另一出口。

• 将坠落的赤锭土收入生灵卷轴。

• 兵、贾、永重新现身；四位宗将与你同乘花筏，继续前行

LV13 - Floodway Ridge (Part One)

• Confront Ben Ai (leader of Procella); Phae binds his neck with a strand of hair, triggering combat.

• Ben Ai recites the Tonal Regulating Mantra, summoning five Jinyoulin (Lightning, Flame, Wind, Flood, Thunder).

• The four commanders each engage one Jinyoulin; you alone face the Flood Jinyoulin.

• Use the Canopy (coated with powder by Sol) to block water blasts from four directions; the closer the canopy tip to the water’s center, the higher the score.

• During water‑blast pauses, fire wooden pepper seeds from the Canopy at the Flood Jinyoulin; land 100 hits to defeat it.

• Each failed block loses 10 Pitasarah fragments; each pepper seed hit gains 7 fragments.

• After you defeat the Flood Jinyoulin, the other four commanders finish their battles and return to the raft.

• Ben Ai casts another spell; two “Procella”‑marked ships rise from the water, form formations, then fade to black.

关卡十三：消洪岭（一）

• 遭遇扯系首领贲艾；秀以发丝锁其脖颈，触发战斗。

• 贲艾念诵咒语，召唤五只衿酉嶙（闪电衿酉嶙、喷火衿酉嶙、散风衿酉嶙、淹水衿酉嶙、炸雷衿酉嶙）。

• 四位宗将各战一兽；你独自迎战淹水衿酉嶙。

• 使用隐身幢（已由兵涂覆粉末）抵御来自四面八方的水浪冲击；幢尖越接近水浪中心，得分越高。

• 在水浪间歇期间，从隐身幢发射木椒子攻击淹水衿酉嶙；命中100次即可将其击败。

• 每次格挡失败损失10文旦粒；每粒木椒子命中获得7文旦粒。

• 击败淹水衿酉嶙后，其余四位宗将也各自结束战斗，返回花筏。

• 贲艾再施法术；两艘绣有"扯"字的战船自水下升起，列阵变幻，画面渐黑。

LV14 - Floodway Ridge (Part Two)

• Two “Procella” ships ram the Well‑shaped Matrix, then fire 10,000 arrows across five fan‑shaped zones

• Four commanders each defend one zone; the player defends the central zone using DunXun – aim and push the compass block to absorb arrows

• Absorbing arrows gains Pitasarah fragments; being hit loses fragments

• After clearing their zones, the commanders help the player (their kills don’t count toward player’s score)

• When arrows end, the ships form a sharp angle and a giant ox tongue slaps out

• Commanders bind the tongue; the player stabs it repeatedly with the white chestnut on DunXun

• After 25 stabs the chestnut doubles; 13 more stabs kill the tongue → black screen, level complete

关卡十四：消洪岭（二）

• 两艘"扯"系战船撞击井字罗阵，随后万箭齐发，覆盖五个扇形区域。

• 四位宗将各守一区；玩家以沌巽镇守中央区域——瞄准并推动罗盘部件以吸收箭矢。

• 吸收箭矢获得文旦粒，被击中则损失文旦粒。

• 各区域清理完毕后，宗将们前来协助玩家（他们所杀箭矢不计入玩家得分）。

• 箭矢耗尽后，战船形成锐角，巨型牛舌猛然拍出。

• 宗将们以银网束缚牛舌；玩家用沌巽上的白芰刺反复刺击。

• 刺击25次后白芰刺翻倍；再刺13次即可击杀牛舌 → 画面转黑，关卡完成。

LV15 - Reward Pool

• Arrive at Boreas Gorge; Sol explains: exchange Pitasarah fragments for instruments behind the red cloths

• Choose an instrument, light its spirit with fragments, and take it

• Return to the raft; Sol gives rice → throw it into the river to summon a water ball

• Fill the engraved board’s binary marks (0 = 1 grain, 1 = 3 grains)

• Board turns into a letter, golden light flashes, gains 1,000 Pitasarah fragments automatically

• Sol teaches the Mantra Kardia “Remembering spirits gone with the wind…” – record it in the Creatura Voluta

• Sail the raft 100 meters forward, pass through a water barrier → black screen, end of Reward Pool

关卡十五：回门结

• 抵达瞿北峡；兵解释道：可用文旦粒兑换红布后的宗器。

• 选择一件宗器，以文旦粒点亮其天门灵后取走。

• 返回花筏；兵赐予稻米 → 撒入江中，召出一颗水球。

• 在刻板上填入二进制刻痕（0=1粒米，1=3粒米）。

• 刻板化为周秭信函，金光闪耀，自动获得1000文旦粒。

• 兵传授心诀"忆灵随风…" —— 将其记录于生灵卷轴之中。

• 花筏前行百米，穿过一道水障 → 画面转黑，第一回门·宗动门 完结。

Common Features(Across levels)

Pitasarah System

• Accumulative scores calculation using the Pitasarah Fragment, Pitasarah Segment, Pitasarah Fruit, and the Pitasarah Tree.

Arcane Rank

• All living beings in Zong have an Arcane Rank. From low to high, they are: Grana - Cyma - Virga - Thalla - Virgulta - Catoma - Palma - Amicula - Umbra - Silva - Auxiliary Commander - Ancillary Commander - Primary Commander - Supreme Commander.

• Player's Arcane Rank will be shown based on the growth of Pitasarah System.

Level Selection

• Levels need to be started from The Centiwell. Once six levels are complete, free selection is available on the Main Menu to enter into one certain level.

UI System

• UI system is presented through the usage of the Imprint granted by Sol in the Centiwell.

• All information saved can be found through searching tabs in Imprint.

• UI canvas can be dragged in VR to your best sight.

Mantra Kardia

• Mantra Kardia is the source power to summon creatures and weapons in the world of Zong. Currently, Mantra Kardias are summoned by commanders/NPCs only.

Immersive Effects

• Immerse in the striking beauty of Papaver Rhoeas and the Mount of Simian.
