You command a squad of four Exos as humanity’s last defense against a robot uprising, with the city at risk if the campaign fails. Each Exo belongs to one of six classes, with its own abilities and weapons.
On a city map, choose missions from those you discover, such as scouting or destroying facilities. Your choices shape how prepared your squad will be for the final battle.
Fight in turn-based tactical encounters, using your squad’s different abilities against varied enemy robots. Find procedurally generated loot to customize Exos with weapons, defenses, and new abilities as the campaign progresses.
Players who enjoy the game often praise the tactical planning, squad customization, and challenge of adapting when a plan fails. Reviews also appreciate the range of builds and options for setting personal challenges. Some players find the systems difficult to learn or the missions and gear management repetitive over longer play sessions.
