Into the Breach

Humanity faces giant creatures emerging from beneath the earth. You command a squad of three mechs in an effort to defend civilian cities and hold back the invasion.

Battles unfold on compact, gridded maps. Enemies show their intended attacks before you act, so you can reposition mechs, damage or shove foes, and use hazards such as water, pits, and fire to change what happens. Keeping buildings safe and meeting mission objectives can matter more than defeating every enemy.

Campaigns take you across islands with different terrain, enemies, and objectives. Mission rewards let you improve mechs and weapons, while pilots add abilities; challenges can unlock further squads with distinct capabilities. When a timeline fails, the story gives you another chance to fight on.
