Explore the city, question people, collect clues, solve small puzzles, and observe how suspects move through their daily routines. Use information and evidence from earlier loops to choose when to approach people, confront contradictions, and influence events.

At the end of a day, review the investigation with Brás and connect evidence on a Thinking Board to build a timeline and pursue new leads. The story draws on the works of Machado de Assis and is presented in a hand-drawn, monochrome noir style.
