You play as Commander Shepard, bringing together a crew of specialists to face a new threat to the galaxy. Conversations and decisions shape Shepard’s relationships with the crew and the course of the mission.
Missions combine third-person firefights with cover, weapons, squadmate abilities, and orders to your team. Between battles, you talk with the crew, pursue their personal missions, and make choices in dialogue—including prompt-based actions that can interrupt conversations.
Recruiting teammates and earning their loyalty help prepare the crew for the final mission. You can equip weapons and armor, scan planets for resources, and carry decisions from the first game into this one. This edition includes the previously released DLC.
