The Wolf Among Us

Fairy-tale characters live in secret among ordinary people in Fabletown, a community in the human world. You play Bigby Wolf—the former Big Bad Wolf, now the town’s sheriff—as he investigates a brutal murder and the events surrounding it.

Gameplay centers on talking with residents, questioning suspects, making decisions in conversations, and interacting with objects while investigating. Timed button prompts feature in action sequences, where Bigby’s response can reflect how forcefully he handles a conflict.

The story unfolds across five episodes. Choices, including when you make them, shape dialogue, relationships, and some events, while also defining the kind of sheriff Bigby tries to be. The game combines a largely narrative-driven structure with comic-inspired visuals and a noir setting.
