Survivor play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The protagonist must navigate through dangerous and tense situations, try to survive till the sun rises, and fight against dark forces to investigate the disappearance of his mother and sister.
Dalat is a highland city in Vietnam, known for its cool and refreshing climate. It features vast pine forests and is surrounded by numerous eerie ghost stories.
Inspired by the mystical supernatural tales of pine forests and chilling local legends in the city of Da Lat in the final years of the 20th century, Taken Soul authentically recreates the dreamy cityscape with its distinctive architecture and alluring natural landscapes, yet not without a touch of eeriness.
Player will take on the role of Trung, who is on a trip to Da Lat with his mother and younger sister. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes the family. To rescue his family from the looming threat, Trung embarks on an adventurous and suspenseful journey, exploring the hidden corners of Da Lat city, from abandoned haunted houses to mysterious locations deep within the pine forests, in order to dispel the enigmatic fog and unravel the secrets behind the disappearance of his mother and sister.
