Developed by DRAGAMI GAMES, LTD. · Published by DRAGAMI GAMES, LTD.
Juliet Starling is a cheerleader and zombie hunter facing an outbreak at San Romero High. She fights through the undead in a deliberately absurd action-comedy, with her boyfriend Nick accompanying her as a severed head.
Combat centers on chainsaw attacks, cheerleading moves, dodges, and combos against groups of zombies. Juliet can also use a chainsaw blaster, build combo streaks, and deploy Nick in attacks.
Progress through stages, face themed bosses, and take on activities such as zombie baseball and basketball. New moves and upgrades can be unlocked, while costumes and chainsaw designs offer ways to customize Juliet’s look; the game also offers different visual-effect modes.
Reviewers who enjoy the game often highlight its goofy, campy humor, colorful style, and satisfying chainsaw combat, along with the banter between Juliet and Nick and the outfit unlocks. Some find the combat repetitive or clunky, and recurring criticisms include the short campaign, missing licensed music, and rough technical or control issues in this version.
Boasting upgraded graphics, 4K support, improved controls, faster action, new difficulty modes, and loads of quality-of-life improvements, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP doesn’t just bring back what fans loved – it cranks it all up to eleven!
